You want to see fun, then you've come to the right place. I love travelling, flying, gymnastics and drawing. I spent 9 of my growing up years doing artistic gymnastics and representing my region at State Titles 3 times (the last time our team won gold). I then went on to coach rhythmic gymnastics for 2 years, then had a break followed by 3 years coaching Gymnastics at Proserpine and Mackay. The sheer thrill of flying through the air in gymnastics has probably played a part in my enjoyment for aviation (plus some of my husband's enthusiasm has rubbed off onto me). As a consequence I am now learning to fly. Below is a photo with my instructor on the day I went solo. I'm learning in a Cessna 152.
LATER NEWSWell in 2006 we went to Bundaberg and I got my Pilots certificate in an Aussie built Jabiru. "Thank You" - Coral Coast Aviation. Now Doug had better hurry and finish the plane.

In 1997, I received my degree in Visual Arts. There I am pictured in my formal evening wear. In 1998, I gained qualifications to teach adult students. In 2005 I earned a Librarian Degree. I am currently working in IT . I also run a Help desk and Train Adults in Computing Skills.

| I do contract work that I enjoy - Desktop Publishing (Manuals, Brochures, Web Pages, etc). My aim is to eventually become a successful Scientific Illustrator for publications. Below you see some of my artwork. |

When I'm not drawing (or creating web pages), I enjoy travelling to some of the many beautiful places in North Queensland, Australia.
| The photo on the right is one of the many beautiful sunsets seen out west near a small town called Hughenden. | |
| One of my favorite sites is pictured on the left, Brampton Island on the Great Barrier Reef. |
The photo
below shows I got a little carried away on my first windsurfing attempt
and
everyone back on shore thought I was trying to make the first solo windsurfer
voyage to
South America.
I also enjoy going to airshows. So far we have been to Raglan for the Old Station Flyin, which always has a great mix of conventional and homebuilt aircraft. Then we went to our Centenary of Federation airshow for the outback in Charters Towers. There was some wonderful flying by the T6s, Connie, DC3s, Stampe and many others.

The most recent we saw was the Caboolture Air Spectacular, an airshow that happens biannually and is dedicated to the warbirds.

In year 2005, we attended the Aussie International Airshow at Avalon, Victoria. While in that area we went sight seeing along the rugged "Shipwreck Coast" where the startling 'Twelve Apostles' rise out of the ocean. Also of course we visited the gold fields. You can see pics (on the 'Holiday' page).
